Over the weekend, JR CrossFit sent two teams to the Girls Gone Rx competition in Dallas. The teams each placed third in their divisions and helped raise thousands of dollars in support for breast cancer awareness everywhere!
Head below for a ton of pictures from the big day!
The two teams, which included Kaelyn Cowan, Porsche Lockhart, Haylie Hickman, Treasure Fields, Faith Powell, and Jazz Gonzales competed in four team workouts and helped Girls Gone Rx raise over $4,000 for breast cancer charities around the globe.
Girls Gone Rx is about teamwork and competing for a cure. Every U.S.-based event benefits our breast cancer charity, Bright Pink. International events benefit local cancer charities. Everyone involved, from judges, volunteers, vendors, spectators, gym owners, and athletes believe everyone should have fun, while support an amazing cause!
Kaelyn, Porsche, and Haylie placed third in the RX division, while Treasure, Faith, and Jazz placed third in the BAM — or Badass In the Making — division.
Everyone be sure to congratulate these ladies, and Coach Jai and Coach Cody, for their awesome work! Next up, Cody and Kaelyn will head to Austin in January to compete in the TFX competition, and we know they’re going to kick butt!
